These smaller size bottles are suitable for just one or two drinks - without the waste! Many of us avoid opening a bottle of wine because we know we won't finish the whole thing, and that is why we added the 375ml bottle to our range.
Â
Being a smaller size, the half bottle is also ideal for party favours, hampers, teacher gifts and for stocking in hotels, b'n'bs and lodges (note: the mulled wine can be heated in a cup in the microwave so is perfect for this type of accommodation). You can even take it on an overnight hike!Â
Both our red and white mulled wines are offered in the 375ml bottle, in multiples of 1, 2, and 6.
Â
Our white mulled wine features the same quality of wine and whole spices as our red - cinnamon, clove and cardamom - but in a much lighter format with less spice, less sugar and less alcohol. This white mulled wine, or vitvinsglogg, tastes great chilled as well as heated, or in a light and bubbly spritzer perfect for summer.
Â
A great alternative to regular white wine without being too sweet, it pairs well with spicy Asian cuisine, fruity desserts or spicy and salty appetisers.
Â
It's also a great option for enjoying the warming and comforting experience of mulled wine in winter - without the red wine (and the headaches and the higher alcohol content - yes, we see you!).
Â
How to heat:
- Microwave: ca 90 seconds per cup in the microwave
-
Stove top: heat until steaming (no bubbles)
- Slow cooker/soup kettle: keep low, don't boil
- Electric urn (only recommended for larger quantities): 60 degrees
How to enjoy it without heating:
- chilled, with or without ice
- as a spritzer (add a dash of soda water for less alcohol, or prosecco for more oomph)
- as a white wine sangria (simply substitue the red mulled wine with white and orange juice with lemonade in our sangria recipe here)
ABV: ca 9% and no, gently heating will not remove the alcohol.
Flavour profile
Sweetness: sweet (but drier than our red mulled wine)
Body: light
Pairing: spicy Asian cuisine, fruit-based desserts, spicy/salty appetisers
